  1. Actually it would be interesting if through the game you essential follow the path of some canister using junky. Then towards the end game you could confront the altered and now deranged shaper. It would be a perspective on what the players character must seem like by the end of G1-G3.
  2. Perhaps your Guardian has learned to swim.
  3. Dawdy is bit strange. What is he doing with all that iron?

I am sure A4 was built specifically for this purpose. Why else would that traveling merchant need to follow your group. What was his name, Oliver or something?
  5. You now I think I will make an attempt to actually use creations in G4. I have yet to create anything all through G1-G3 except to see what they look like. I assume I'm missing out on some of the game's actual fun.
  6. Or perhaps VISA. At the least as loyal adventurers working for the crown you could receive some royal equivalent of traveler's checks.

  8. Ah, that is a situation in which a Guardian would shine. Normally when playing a guardian I just stand there and there and talk on the whole lot at once. On higher difficulty settings I don't stand in one place very long. If that doesn't work zipping in and out with speed always helps. Then there's always the lure monsters into "death trap" back-alley-tactic. I still say a tower of HPs combined with powerful healing spells makes the Guardian more powerful. Maybe you could take out a whole room with daze and some powerful magic but eventually magic will run dry, if enough monsters are present." You can't hurt what you can't hit". But how realistic is never being hit. Eventually some powerful monster is going to get a good blow in and sap away most of the Agent's HPs.
  9. Interesting, I see your point. Though I still stand beside the Guardian. But reading some of those posts reminded me that some areas did take a fair amount of time and effort with a guardian. Perhaps Agents are the ultimate weapon, but Guardians are surly the ultimate character.
  10. Yes. Anyone who knows were said topic is please post a link.
  11. Quoting yourself. But guardians have the same augmentation abilities. In G3 my guardian by endgame had all the blessing magics, and augmentations such as Battle Roar, steel skin, and Essence armour. Those coupled with speed and normal blessing makes the guardian easily equal to any Agent. After all doesn't a Guardian get melee bonuses? I still don't see how Agents are superior. Edit: The above combined with 450 Hps, and 110% armour, with 100% resistance to all effects, should easily overpower and Daze spell.

  13. "Once change I did forget to mention, though. I am making an effort to replace swarms of individual monsters with groups. I want to reduce the "walk 10 feet, tiny fight, walk 10 feet, tiny fight" syndrome. This change should extend to all future games". Very cool. Larger groups would be more realistic. After all why are all the monsters just randomly covering a certain area?
  14. I wouldn't weigh the opinion of the board members that heavily. As with most games the people who actively participate in the community is small compared to the total number of people who play or have played a game.

  16. Move mountains is a bit like the lanterns that don't work in A4. It seems like a lot of things have gone backwards since A3.
  17. It seems odd that adventurers with all the magical fire-power and weapons couldn't bust down any door they wished. I mean how strong can a door be? You should be able to bust through a wall with a fireball spell.
  18. It's ironic but I usually play through G1-3 without using any creations. Guardians need no help beyond their sword.

  20. Sweet! Maybe I'll finally get to see what everyone thinks is so great about it. Seeing as how I never have played past the demo and that was years ago.
  21. Wasn't the Athame just a small dagger? Hardly a warriors weapon.
