Fledgling Fyora TheArachne
Is there a way to get the mac versions of the geneforge games without rebuying them? I own them on steam but it says It is only Windows, But the site says they have Mac versions?
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
email to Jeff Vogel (support@spiderwebsoftware.com) and explain your situation and he'll help you. might take couple days.
Curious Artila Bearfax
Hey, I know I'm late to this topic, but I feel like I might be able to help. Unfortunately, the Steam versions of Geneforge only work on Windows. This is because the Mac versions use a relatively old file system that Steam no longer supports. Pretty sad, but it's the truth. If you ask Jeff about it, he *might* supply you with a Mac key, but I wouldn't count on it. Worst case scenario, you'll have to buy the saga again on Mac for $30, which is IMHO still worth it for the whole series.

Articulate Vlish ThomasCats
Is this still accurate? I bought a big bundle of things on Steam, went through all of Avadons at about one a week and only just realised that Geneforges, Nethergate and the second lot of Avernums are for Windows. Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
Yes, the thing to do is to email Spidweb. They've historically been pretty good about letting you transfer from one system to another. ThomasCats and Bearfax
Articulate Vlish ThomasCats
Thanks, I'm through the first three Avernums, going to have to write an e-mail now, which for some reason fills me with terror.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
As long as you provide the information they need to identify your original purchase, they are quite good about helping you. If you do it near the weekend or when they are on vacation, you might not hear back until afterwards, but you will get a reply.
