Tenderfoot Thahd sokre
I use room in static fields where avernum pylons bring ou as storeroom for various thingies. However, i noticed that both of my mandrake tinctures dissappeared there, one by one. Is this known bug?
Unflappable Drayk Zummi
Wow. No, it's now a known bug. That's spooky.
Tenderfoot Thahd sokre
any way to bring them back or some cheat to create them?
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
You can't bring them back because the game deleted them. And it is not a bug. Each area can only hold a certain number of items. I already knew this when I first played A5, so what I do is I distribute my hoard of items between towns. It is the same for all Spiderweb games. Edit - typo
Seasoned Roamer Thrasher
If you lost them on the ground, they are still there. Just pick up other stuff and redistribute it some where else, and the missing items can reappear. You may have to do this a few times to remove enough junk. Pain in the ass. There should be infinite containers to avoid this kind of thing.
Unflappable Drayk Evnissyen
In that case, Sokre must've had a pretty big stash... I've never had a problem with maintaining large hordes in one area. ...Remembering that huge pile of loot I'd arranged at the front doors of Khyryk's tower in Geneforge 3, I imagine any item-threshold per area to be rather high. Seasoned Roamer Thrasher
Not only that, but my characters phased out and became invisible when there was too much junk in the master pylon room! I'm an extreme collector, never knowing if I should save something or sell it until I get near the end of the game. Scary?
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Yeah, if you manage to start messing up the graphics, you've put too much stuff in one spot. Dikiyoba has had that crash the game before and so avoids doing that at all costs.
Unflappable Drayk Evnissyen
It's only scary if you do it in real life.
Seasoned Roamer Thrasher
lol! Thankfully real life is not nearly as capricious as RPGs.

Seasoned Roamer Thrasher
Did you move/spread out stuff enough so that when moving to each location, the ground boxes have some empty slots? If not, then they could still be hidden there.
Tenderfoot Thahd sokre
yes i did and still nothing. so, any suggestions how can i generate some mandrake tinctures? i hate to think that my game is a bit ruined now.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
If you really are missing your mandrake tinctures, odds are you're missing other things too. Dikiyoba.
Kyshakk Koan AnarhIztok2511
You can always add them (and possible other missing items) via the scripts - if you really had them it shouldn't count as cheating. Maybe tictures are missing coz they're the cheapest? It used to be that the cheapest items got deleted/hidden first. And then so on.
Tenderfoot Thahd sokre
What are scripts and how to use them? Any links for that? @Dikiyoba i haven't noticed anything else missing. i'm only stashing useful potions, scrolls, wands, herbs, gems and some gear. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Try here as a starting point on modifying scripts and giving yourself items. You may need to read through several pages to find what you want.
