Well-Actually War Trall Khoth
Sorry, no battle gammas for you.

Easygoing Eyebeast *i
For clarity, you cannot make Battle Gammas.
Ineffable Wingbolt Suspicious Vlish
SHHHH. Perhaps we can encourage the newbies to use the 'Search' Function...
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
But giving them wrong answers does nothing to encourage them to use the search feature and has the potential to confuse those later on who do use the search feature. Besides, in Dikiyoba's experience, the search feature is painfully unreliable, so it doesn't matter too much anyway.

I figured as much (though I never tried). With my solo playing style, I rarely need to create Battle Alphas, let alone the stronger varieties. Hatchling Cockatrice Quiconque
Can you even get 6 points in Create Battle Alpha? I don't think so.
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
Yes, that was the point. You can't get 6 points in that. Come to think of it, could you with a script edit?

Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
The trainers can raise the create battle alpha skill up to the max, but you still won't be able to create a battle gamma. However, it might be possible to edit the scripts and turn the battle beta into a battle gamma (for those who really, really want that battle gamma). I just made my battle beta glow, and that's really the only difference between those two creations, anyway. Dikiyoba was more struck by the realization that it's possible to make Dikiyoba's Shaper actually glow after using the Geneforge or many, many canisters. Kyshakk Koan Nick Ringer
My whole computer screen glows. Does it really bother you (plural, "ya'll") that a question is repeated? It's not like the Geneforge board is overflowing with new threads ...
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
It's generally good to find old threads that answer a question rather than creating new ones to ask the same question, but it's not necessary to check every single thread every single time you have any confusion in a game — it's just good manners not to ask a question that has been answered lower down on the same page. This question was fine. Lying to a newbie, on the other hand, is generally bad manners and foolish. The question for which this thread existed has been answered, so I think we're done here.
