Garrulous Glaahk Groovejet
1) Is the mystery of the locked door on Geneforge 2 revealsed on Geneforge 3? 2) I'm on the second island, if I help the shaper here, will I be able to change my mind later and help the rebels? 3) If I stay with the shapers and use canisters will I get the "Oh you helped the shapers, but you used canister so we'll lock you forever in a cell" ending like in geneforge 2? Well-Actually War Trall Emperor Tullegolar
1. Oh, yes. Big time. You'll know by the end of the game. 2. Yes. You can change your mind quite a few times. Even if you work against them, I think the rebels will be willing to take you even up to the final island. 3. Sort of, yes. It's not that bad, but the Shaper ending is always better if you avoid canisters.
Garrulous Glaahk Leftover Sauerkraut
If you do use to many canisters, you can always bring up the cheat menu and type in sdf 100 4 0 to get the ending without canisters.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Eugi
Wait, what? I've finished GF3 but haven't started GF2. Could someone please tell me what door in Gf3 is being referenced? Is it the one you are "scared away from" that's part of the rebel's quest? And yeah, the rebels are real nappy-headed ho's. They'll accept you into their ranks even if you were 100% pro-shaper up until the final island. As for canisters, use all you want. Simply use the above-mentioned cheat to get the non-canister ending.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
No, it's a door in the Takers/drakons lab in G2 that you run across but cannot open. It contains spoiler . (Because it's been too long since Dikiyoba has used a spoiler tag.)
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Eugi
If it's a door in Gf2... why Groove mention GF3? Especially if the thing you mentioned only is introduced in GF4?
Well-Actually War Trall Emperor Tullegolar
The door is in Geneforge 2, and it's mentioned at the very and as a cliffhanger. It tells you what was behind the door at the very end of Geneforge 3, even though the action doesn't really get started until Geneforge 4. Burgeoning Battle Gamma Eugi
Do you have to finish Gf3 as a rebel to hear about that?
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
No, Litalia tells you about Ghaldring and he is mentioned in the last screen of every ending.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Eugi
Ooohhhhh, Ghaldring the other head Drakon! I thought Ghaldring was the name of one of the new Shaper creations in GF4.
Garrulous Glaahk Groovejet
Ok I finished the game as a loyalist and I still don't understand what was behind the door? So it was only Ghaldring hiding there? Also, who was supposed to be the winning sect from Geneforge 2? For what I read it was the loyalists. Understated Ur-Drakon Sudanna
Yes, the loyalists won G2. And it's not "only Ghaldring." He almost single-handedly recreated the Rebellion!
Garrulous Glaahk Groovejet
It's a pity loyalists won G2, I allied with the Barzhites when I played it.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Yes, but the Rebel ending took G3.
