Shaman spells

I have invested 3 points to Spirit Charge but still my lvl 12 Shaman can't use it, what's the deal? Atm Shaman lacks offensive spells due that oddity.

The Shaman's default attack is Spirit Claw with the area effect attack available at level 6. This is the same as a Sorcerer's default attack is Firebolt. More levels or a better rod/staff gives slightly more damage. Spirit Claw can be used in melee and range.

 

The alternate attack is javelin with slightly longer range if you have one equipped.

If you're still confused about how to cast the default attack spell: just equip a rod or staff, select it as your weapon, and attack with it like you'd attack with a sword or bow. You'll automatically cast Spirit Claw.

Spirit CLAW and Spirit CHARGE are two different things.

 

Spirit CLAW is your default attack. It does NOT appear on the ability screen, and it is NOT an area-effect attack.

 

Spirit CHARGE is the area-effect one, and it's an ability you get for upgrading Spirit CLAW to level 6. It DOES appear on the ability screen, it IS an area-effect attack, and you can NOT use it until you have upgraded Spirit CLAW to level 6.
