Ineffable Wingbolt Mosquito---Slayer
Does anyone know the exact amount of mechanics needed to get out of the room with heat spitting machine before the roamers get you? Or is it just not possible?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Pretty sure you have to fight those roamers.
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
exactly what Lilith said.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The best you can hope for is to make it outside the room to limit the number that attack you per round.
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
I thought that, by alternating between the roamer door and the exit door, you could keep the roamers from attacking. I'm nearly certain that I managed to avoid them at least once, although I'm not sure how much mechanics I had.
Ineffable Wingbolt Mosquito---Slayer
The problem of course was that I had planned to invest only in leadership and mechanics intially, Do the presence and Astoria's assasin quest and straight away get a war trall. Anyway I managed by investing a bit in intelligence and battle shaping and creating 6 thahds whot took the blows as I escaped. Got the war trall quickly and the game has just become a breeze even on Torment. It's mostly like:- War Trall: You wanna say something?? Gurrrr.. clawbug/Vlish/Roamer: Uhhh... War trall: Die!! Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
I have to say, in kratoa stoneworks, I found that Vlish worked the best if you hadn't gotten battle alpha by then.
Unflappable Drayk Alex
I've managed to avoid the roamers, too. You can come back later and enter their room from the other side. EDIT: Mechanics 8 is required to keep the roamers locked inside.
