Kyshakk Koan Valdain the King
I dont know what to say. I can hit some creatures 80% and they can hit me 50% of the time. Then there are creatures not much different that can hit me 93% of the Time! with me having a chance to hit of 45%. Is there some sort of bonus/con to fighting creatures above or below your level? This doesnt make sense as how can a creature have a 93% chance to hit me when i have a char maxed on dex.
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
Well...contrary to what the game says, Dexterity does NOT help you hit with melee weapons (it actually only helps with ranged weapons). So that might be your problem.
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
If you maxed Dex and they have 93% to hit you, then you are probably fighting creatures above your level. What level are you and where are you?
Kyshakk Koan Valdain the King
Oh, im definitely fighting creatures above my level then. Im level 3 and im fighting nepharim. I know that strength affects hit chance with melee but i still add to dex for my rogue with some in strength too. So i guess being a higher level than the monsters affects them negatively too? Rotghroth Rhapsody Kreador
They might both be kitties, but there's a big difference between nepharim and nephilim.

Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Well, the higher level you are, the higher your stats are going to be. The higher level your enemies, the higher their hit rates and dodge rates will be. So, yeah, stay away from Nepharim. Stick to goblins and nephils until you're done with all of those guys. Unflappable Drayk Death Knight
Im actually of the opinion that critical hits are also based on negative/positive level differences. Take the 1st 5 levels where i fight against goblins, skeletons, thugs and rats. My critical hit chance was probably something like 35% for my rogue who has no points in lethal blow. My other warrior deals even more critical hits almost to the point where lethal blow is useless. The base critical hit chance has to be at least 15% and might even be bias towards level difference.
