Tenderfoot Thahd Vertimyst
Just wondering what Jeff's policy is on this. If I buy one of his games (say, Avadon), do I get both Windows and Mac versions? Or would I have to buy two copies?
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
You get both versions. With Avadon, the code you recieve will work on any copy, Windows or Mac, without any further involvement from Spiderweb Software. With the older games, which require you to send a registration code when ordering (such as Geneforge or Avernum), you'll need to prove you bought the game (i.e. by providing billing information such as your name and address), and provide the 5-digit code shown on the title screen in order to get a code for both. Jeff has always been pretty excellent about this.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
If you have two computers and the game you want isn't Avadon, provide all the numbers so that Jeff can give you all the codes. —Alorael, who tried getting the OS/2 registration code, and all he got was laughter. He supposes that's fair.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
But if you get it from the Mac App Store, I'm pretty sure you only get the Mac version.

Even if you get it from the App Store, you may still be able to email Jeff for a code to use with the Windows version. Note that I said may. Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
I just sold all my gold to get out before the whole debt ceiling thing blows over. I made a 500% return on my initial investment- why would I want to buy more now?
