Garrulous Glaahk Silver Shadow Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 I seem to have done a silly thing. I found the missing scouts from the Missing Scouts quest before receiving the quest. Their leader let on there was a quest involving finding them, so I quit the conversation to go get the quest. When I came back, they were gone. When I went to Watcher Harissa, the quest-giver, she chastised me for losing all the scouts. On one hand, yeah, it was dumb to leave the scouts without finishing all possible conversation options. On the other hand, I had cleared the ogres from the immediate area. If someone mentions an available quest I haven't started, I tend to go get it immediately so I can cash in on my good deed. I didnt get the quest either, I just did the right thing, and escorted the scouts to safety out of the kindness of my heart, then later talked to the leader, and got the quest and reward for it. When I found them I expected they would exit the area by following the cliff face to the western exit. But they instead take a torturous path through the middle of the map where all the ogres are still very much alive. I lost two of them because of their inability to follow a safe route. Curious Artila lukematt Posted December 30, 2011 Share Posted December 30, 2011 I have almost the same problem. I *did* get the quest. Then, I found the scouts. When they started to take a strange path out (i.e. they did not follow the path to the west), I loaded a "before finding the scouts" save file. Cleared the ogres. Then, I went to finish the ogre quest with the dragon. Realized that I hadn't led the scouts out, so I returned to them. Now, they are NOT there.
