Curious Artila Domar
I see people all over the boards saying Avernum 6 is the end of Avernum, is it actually the last game in the Avernum story? I noticed that on the site it didn't have anything in bold saying the final game of the series like it did with Geneforge, so are these people just saying its like the end of Avernum as we know it, or what? Yep, it is the last game for the Avernum series. Jeff may remake the series like he did to Exile in the far far future, but for now, it's the last game. But I don't see that happening.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Jeff pretty much went out of his way to kill everything since this is the last one in the series. There may be a prequel taking place before this time.
Garrulous Glaahk Serene Tempest
The world of Avernum doesn't end, but it undergoes some very dramatic and irreversible changes.
Kyshakk Koan Velzan
Irreversable eh? Demonslayer can be Reforged, AGAIN. the orb the thralni can be fixed. Otherwise it would have never been created. Solberg could be ressurected. X could be Ripped out of his new Dimension with great skill. Melanchion can be Slain. The Slith horde can be Driven back. Cotra, Silvar, Fort Dranlon, Fort Duvno, Formello, Fort Draco, And Fort monastery can be Fixed up and rebuilt. the wizards can make a new Mushroom type and keep working on new ones as time passes on. Irreversable? I think Not! Imagination Ftw.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
lol@velzan I wonder how you imagine Solberg being resurrected (no body to cast Return Life-spell) and X would be bit diificult to find on other dimensions.
Kyshakk Koan Velzan
Well You kind of force me to answer that Logically. For X, Simply Scry where the rip was. Pick up its residue and determine where it leads. Solberg a bit trickier. You could of course. Create a Tornado in avernum XD and separate the wizard dust from the blight spores, And Everything else. Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Well, finding X would be easy. Just look for massively stylish retribution being dished out anywhere and you'd find him !
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
Not to mention a place where it rains anvils.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
unless X has moved on something else (like cauldrons). gathering Solberg's ashes would take a while and some of his dust is our party's/singletons shoes and ...........
