Gorash-Kel & exitzone mess-up[G5]

I'm on Quothe's mission, checking Gorash-Kel for the unbound. Got the dialogue telling me they're there, but had to exitzone out of the area due to a *badly* timed save.

 

Quothe's dialogue doesn't list the option to report what I saw, so I'm assuming the cheat messed the game up here. Returning to Gorash-Kel doesn't help, the dialogue doesn't pop up again.

 

 

 

I understand that it would be possible to manipulate the SDFs in order to fix this, but how exactly?

Type shift-D, and type:

 

sdf x y value

 

To make flag 1,13 to a value of 6, you would type:

 

sdf 1 13 6

 

Go through the scripts and look to see what flag gets set with that message.

There are two different messages for Gorash-Kel. The first is seeing them when you enter the zone and the second is when you venture inside the ruins and you need to get to the second one to finish the mission. Just seeing them from outside the ruins doesn't count.

 

Besides with practice and lots of reloads you can get some really nice loot.

Next time you get stuck, consider going back to your autosave: it always brings you back to the state you were in just before you entered the last zone, and it's less likely to mess things up than using exitzone.
