I think you must be confusing Sulfras (the live dragon you rescued and who unleashed quickfire on the fort she was in) with Pyrog (who's dead and lives somewhere else).

100 is the max, and I've gotten it. You're "true heros" at 98 or 99, I think.

You could try killing Anaximander with Protective Circle, and then taking the necklace.

I know that a character in Pollux alludes to Lazarus being in Castle Relaford, but that alone would make a pretty unhelpful hint.
