Before you use the canister, it would be quite prudent to train from a trainer first. Don't use the first few canisters, they aren't worth it.

I usually use a prefix/suffix for the different creations. Fyora: light, flame (i.e. Torchlight, Burnflame) Artila: fang (Greenfang, Splitfang) Cryoa: frost (Bluefrost, Freezefrost) so on...

My favourite character: Alwan My least favourite character: Rawal. My favourite creation: Wingbolt. My least favourite creation: Worms, crawlers, etc... Pointless... My favourite spell: Mass Madness My least favourite spell: Charm. My favourite sect: Alwan. My least favourite sect: Rawal. My favourite area: Isenwood's Spire. Nothing lives there... NOW... after I visited... My least favourite area: Whitespires Pass. The first time I died because I didn't have Rawal's papers.

True, in the old ones, my Shaper was mauled to death in one hit at Watchhill, mobbed by rogues at the Mines... Combat in the latter games definitely evolved to be more entertaining.

To find Goettsch, I highly suggest not entering through Spirits' City. Enter the Sentinels first (that's the east entrance to The Great Temple)... I think I ****ed my self over by not talking to that old servile first.

Hi guys. I'm relatively new to modding scripts (like I just got addicted today) and I admit, I suck at it. So... to make my life easier, I need a program that makes modding the scripts easier. I tried Notepad for G4 and G5 saved games. I tried messing with the journal, putting random crap in the entries, but the game crashed (I did back up my files so that's good). Altogether, I completely failed to do anything. So, what program do you guys use to mod the scripts? I have considered using DosBox, but I don't know if it can mod Geneforge (and Geneforge's seemingly encrypted game code).

Except for Geneforge 1 and 2, Shapers seem to be the way to go. Thanks for the feedback, guys!
