Thank you for your post. I am so excited for Avadon 2. I just played Avadon yet another time in order to get back in the feel of Spiderweb, so I am incredibly hyped up for the new game.

Actually, you have to at least think that you are loyal to Redbeard. You can see whether or not he thinks that you are loyal is if you go up to his chambers and click on a wardrobe. If you want to be a Hand, I would advise you to be perfectly loyal and make sure that you always say what Redbeard wants you to say.

When is Avadon 2 coming out? I can barely wait!

The rebels are the ones who really remind me of communism. They hate the ones who have to work very hard to get their influence (the Shapers) and instead of trying to become better, richer, all they do is try to become equal by killing everyone who is better than them. Ironically, all in the name of peace and love. Yes, the Shapers are centrist. They do believe they have the right to obtain power, but instead of monarchs who are born to power, Shapers know that, at least through their own individual actions, that their power can quickly deflate through not following the Shaper laws.

I hate the rebels. They preach that you must protect the innocent animals, when they are the ones who are destroying cities full of millions of innocent people and killing both Shapers and Shaper creations. They are great hypocrites. If their cause is won, the Drakons would rise against them and kill all of the humans and creations. Nobody but the Drakons would be in favor of that. Even if the Drakons don't come into power, the Lifecrafters are just going to replace the Shapers, but they are just going to be worse because they neither have the wisdom to control creations justly (and will have all of the creations go out of control) and their power is going to all be hoarded. Unlike how Shapers get power, Lifecrafters use canisters and the Geneforge. Anybody can get power by using those and the humans will forever be on a full out war with other humans to get that power. No. The rebels are fighting for a stupid cause. They remind me of communists, those who preach equality and togetherness while they kill the ones who try to keep stability. [Note: The Shapers are even better than absolute monarchs as they have to have displayed intelligence and wisdom in order to get power. Monarchs just obtain power by being bored.]

I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and I'm not able to play Geneforge 2. See, whenever I try to run Geneforge 2, there is a message that says that I need a 800x600 screen and a thousand colors. I have a screen of 1280x800 and million colors. Why isn't Geneforge 2, then? Even when I used to be able to play the game before?

As a solo agent in my game, going through the game was MUCH easier than going through it as a Shaper (I kept getting killed as a Shaper). I spent most of my points on Battle and Mind Magic very early in the game so that by level 15 or so, I had a 30 in Battle Magic (though I probably needed more Endurance and Intelligence, but it's okay). I got to Trakjov and the Shaper and killed both of them easily. To be honest, being a Shaper gets easier by the end, but I kept getting angry because I kept dying at the beginning.

Roamers and Fyroras are pathetic creatures. Besides, making another creature is better than upping creatures' stats.

I felt more pathetic that you. The lever was right in front of me and I didn't find it.

"Rebel morality" is an oxymoron.

Not unless my mighty force of drayks get to them first. No, Geneforge is a family-friendly game. There's no blood that I know of (it's not in the graphics at least) but there is revolution and traitors, but hey! That's what makes the Geneforge series epic.

Drayks and crodrayks are the most powerful.

Sometimes you will get too angry, lose control, and go into fights that you might not want to go into if you use too many canisters.

The best way to get as much schooling in Geneforge 2 is to NOT use any canisters until you are level 2 in that particular area and be pro-shaper at first.

Going through the game alone does give you more experience than otherwise. ------------------------------------- Mmmm...tacos!
