  1. Okay, thanks for the warning, Nalyd. Everyone, there's a possibility that we might have to reschedule anyway. We've been having a slight problem with out internet connection, the kind of problem that reduces the number of computers that can access the internet at one time to one. For our house, that can be an issue. AIMhack may have to take a back seat to homework or balancing the checkbook. I'll try to get more information about where we stand tomorrow.
  2. BJ whistles softly and hops off the bus. He browses though this strange corner of the internet he never knew existed before. BJ: "Huh. So this is from the early days of Spiderweb." BJ remembers being four years old in 1993 and so doesn't have much to reminisce about. He starts to get board but, fortunately for everyone else, then recognizes Triumph. BJ: "Hey Triumph. You comin' along for the ride? It has been quite a party so far."
  3. BJ watches his bottle of ink fly though the air and land on Trenton and Nightwatcher. BJ: "Huh. Somehow, I knew that was going to happen." BJ figures he should get into the party mood. It would be safer than letting himself get board again. He conjures up some sheets of colored construction paper and starts turning them into paper chains. Soon, the whole bus is decorated with them.
  4. BJ glances at the music system, perplexed. BJ: "Who is that supposed to be?" He goes back to contemplating how to use the bottle of ink when Mistb0rn approaches. He looks up at her. BJ: "Oh, hey Mistb0rn... Yup, it's ink." He grins. BJ: "It's way more than I'm ever going to need, well probably more than I'm going to need, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rest of it. I was considering dumping it on Trenton's head, just to see what it would do to the sparkles."
  5. BJ goes back to scribbling in his notebook, occasionally looking up to take note of what Trenton is up to. After a while, he puts away his notebook and looks around the bus. BJ is getting board, and that usually means chaos will follow. Well, more chaos anyway. BJ: "So, hey, are we actually going someplace? I can't really think of anywhere I want to go, so I guess I'm just along for the ride." BJ then decides to conjure up a thirty pound bottle of ink and starts contemplating what he can do with it.
  6. Novels: Mystery/Crime, Fantasy, Science Fiction Movies: Action/Adventure, Fantasy/SciFi, Musical Music: Jazz, Classical, Rock TV: Fantasy/SciFi, Detective, Documentary I'm interested to see that I'm the only one who has voted for documentaries in the TV category. I don't really watch a whole lot of them, but I'd rather watch a good documentary rather than say sports or a drama. Also, I'm considering MythBusters a documentary. That show rocks.
  7. Ah. I've never seen him around, so I thought he was new. Just my newbie-ness showing. Anyway, still totally cool dude.
  8. The rain finally lets up. BJ now is soaked, but at least he's clean again. He starts eating his pizza and watches the dream projections. BJ: "Hey, cool. Dreams can make for really great stories. I wonder if-- hey Slarty! What do you mean by 'detour'?!"
  9. Whoooohoooo! Congrats, dude. We love having new designers around here.
  10. BJ happily hands out food to those who want it after hiding a pizza under one of the seats. The Easter basket he's holding is quickly emptied, and he's happy he had the foresight to stash some food for himself. He then grab his pizza and takes the seat behind Jewels and Sylae, only to become covered in soot and watermelon. BJ: "Ah, man. Wha'd ya have to go and do that for? I just got this cloak dry-cleaned, too." He sulks for a bit before having an idea. BJ: "I wonder if I could justify a shower as a 'writing material' by saying I can't write while covered in soot. Eh, worth a shot, though I think I'll just settle for a wet towel." BJ attempts to conjure a towel. Instead of a towel materializing, a dark cloud appears above him and starts to rain. BJ looks around at the soaked, and rather annoyed, Spiderwebbers that surround him. BJ: "My bad." BJ conjures an empty binder and uses it to keep the rain off of him.
  11. BJ, who had sat down a long time ago and had been furiously scribbling in a notebook the whole time, looks up. BJ: "Did someone say they needed paper?" He waves his hands about in an attempt to conjure up some writing materials. Suddenly, the bus is filled with flying sheets of printing paper. BJ: "Um, oops. Sorry, that can happen sometimes." He then closes his notebook, stands up, dodges a pie, and steps out of the bus. He enters the Mongolian BBQ and helps to grab takeout. BJ: "Mmmm. I hope they made this spicy enough for me. I can't stand it when restaurants are wimpy about the hot stuff." Jewels hugs BJ. BJ looks a little uncomfortable about this, but hugs back anyway. BJ: "Hey Jewels. I've seen you around, but I don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting."
  12. BJ, who today had a dark-green cloak and, of all things, a longsword strapped to his back, was intrigued by the odd bus parked in front of the gas station. Inside he could see a few people he recognized, but few he really knew. Curious as to this strange sight, BJ poked his head through the open door. BJ: "Hey, has anyone seen a pallid looking man in brown robes run past here? He's one of my arch-villains, and I really need him back." Cautiously, BJ boarded the bus.
  13. Okay, so before this has the opportunity to get blown way out of proportion, I think there are some things I need to clear up. Lilith's analysis is correct. Unless Nalyd had learned about his trip at the last minute, he had over a week to let me know that the date wasn't optimal. One day isn't enough time for me to let everyone else know that we need to reschedule, which was one reason we went though with the session anyway. Couple this with the fact that Nalyd has yet to post his level-up, despite having over three weeks and two reminders to do so. I'm starting to wonder if he's still interested in playing in this campaign. If he isn't, he needs to let me know so I can let someone who does want to play join up. If he does, it would be great to see some evidence of it. I'm really trying to be fair here, not just to Nalyd but to everyone who is playing or wants to play. I'd really rather not have to kick someone out of the campaign, but I will if I feel it's absolutely necessary.
  14. Whew! The party survived and made it to Ilsandoria, and they also found out why the island is considered cursed. Now the question is, will they get off in one piece? Next session is currently scheduled for April 12th at 8pm EST, if everyone can make it. Also, if Nalyd is a no-show without ample advance warning again, I'm tying a lead weight to Viatrix and dropping him in the ocean. Don't think that I wont.
  15. Guess what guys... Click to reveal.. (No seriously, guess.) We're still on for tomorrow! Incidentally, I still need Viatrix's level-up and Chantico's spells.
  16. I just took a look at this for the first time, and I must say it's looking awesome. Do have one complaint though, when I minimize the editor and then restore it all I can see on the main window is the background. To fix it I have to close the editor and reopen it.
  17. I am working on a new scenario right now and have plans for a handful of other scenarios, but I'm trying not to work on more than one at once. Despite what my signature may say, I think I'm about 80% the way toward having a playable version. After that, it's going to get a healthy dose of polish before going to beta. So, yeah, there are still some of us who are still working on and playing scenarios.
  18. Congrats Ephesos! I'm rather surprised that my two scenarios took such extreme places. I mean, 2nd and 12th? I expected them to place somewhere in the middle, not on the two ends. I'm not complaining, though. 2nd place isn't bad at all.
  19. My computer has been acting up lately, so I may be a little late getting my rankings in. Still, I only have 1.5 scenarios to go, so it shouldn't be to long.
  20. Okay, so Thursday, April 5th, at 8pm EST is looking like the best time, as long as it's okay with Nalyd.
  21. Hey guys. I'm sorry to say I've been battling a bit of writer's block since the last session, so I'm still not ready for the next session yet. I'd like to continue sometime in the next two weeks as it's getting to the point where I feel we'll have to press on whether I'm ready or not. Any longer and I'm afraid interest in this will wane too much. So, let's consider April 2nd, April 3rd, and April 5th for possible dates. Let me know how those work for you. -BJ P.S. Thanks for all your patience everyone. P.P.S. Still need a level up for Viatrix and a spell list for Chantico.
  22. The log for session 5 is away, so it should be up soon. In the meantime, more quotes: Click to reveal.. (Quotes) Chantico: "I only like fish when it's fried." Bandek: "That's kinda how you feel about everythin' else too, ain't it?" Chantico: "Hey, barkeep, I hear you mammals have a thing called 'firewater.' I'm intrigued." Bandek: "What kinda dangers we talkin' about? Bandits? Ghosts? Land sharks? I'm pretty good with the first two. Not so hot on the third one." Hopping Jaguar: "As for the rumors of my death, well, I was as surprised as you to hear that I'd died." Sarelim: "...um, I'd really appreciate not spending any time in a jail. At all."
  23. Whoops. I must have forgotten to do that. Calendar is filled in now.
  24. I haven't officially set a date yet. We're kind of on a short hiatus here. I'll try to keep the delay brief, and in the meantime I'll get the log of last session up.
  25. The only ones I knew for sure were 4 and 6 (big fan of both those shows). The set on 7 does look similar to the ones from Farscape, but I don't recognize the character.
