  3. is this the same place where you have to raise the bridge to cross? if so, then its probaly some codeing error and is really nothing to worry about.
  4. ive always found it quite ironic that the super powerful illegal creations cannot ever be gained by the rebels.
  5. i think you all are forgeting the ur-drakon, whitch is ridiculouly expensive but quite frankly rocks.

  7. not really, this very situation happends in the alwan ending if you also realease the shredbugs, she appears lost in thought and votes yes without care.
  8. you can cast the same spells as a mage in the game, if your spell costs essence we can assume that the mages must meet the same requirement. while i cant recall the exact phrase i belive that shapers do regenerate essence naturally, however its still much more efficiant to use a essence pool.

Although there are plenty of Shaped weapons and soldeirs use essence so it could be a resoucre need to create units. i think he is refereing to the life and essence pools, any mages would require a steady inflow of essence, plus essence used to create shaped gear, and of course for shaper creations.

Rawal will rule the shapers not Alwan. or, astoria will be in complete despair about the death of a good many of her citizens and would affectively be neutralised, astoria silenced, alwan would be able to convince the rest of the councilors to attack the rebels and it would be more or less a alwan ending, with minor issues ariseing from the absence of the PC.
  11. i also enjoy G3 because you get to lead a army and feel like you are actually making a diffrence, the only other time i feel this way is the shapers final assault in G5.
  12. wow spddin i love how you explained the meaning of the shaper symbol, is that canon or did you make it up? it sounds very plausible.
  13. the helft forge is in Click to reveal.. in the east shadow road directly to the right
  14. try going thru the game files, its time consuming but you'll eventually find it.

  16. i really like 3 things from this spddin, the shaper(father) is benevolent and (gasp) goes out of his way to help outsiders, its based on(i assume the child is you)a shaper-to be,and it appears to be very well writtin. congratulations,i will definitely have to follow this one.
  17. i forgot to mention i had 2 intelligence and 1 strength in each one.
  18. in G3 i have managed three in my party, but i had barely any essence available for spells.(my shaper basically just sat there taking up AP)
  19. if you have a shaper you'll need major healing but besides that you should be fine in the power core.
  20. maybe in ideals, and not really that anymore shes a trakovite, but she wears shaper robes, and in the end game shes chooses to side with the shapers all be it with hours of persuasion.
  21. lol, wow i might just put that in my signiture, yeah i think i will.
  22. a shaper refers to either a member of the sect of The Shapers, or a likely enductee into said sect. a lifecrafter refers to a rebel touched by the geneforge and canisters giveing them the power to shape. by that litalia is a shaper, although she differs from the shapers on many ideals she learned to shape from training just like any other shaper.saying litalia is not a shaper is the same as saying khyryk isint either.
  23. i think that a prequel to geneforge would be a great idea, but not one geneforge game after the other seeing how much money jeff can collect, let it *rest* for a while then revive it.
  24. litalia is also a shaper(not so much with the trakovite twist), yet we dont classify her as a pro-shaper. if the shaper empire was stronger and she wasint a councilor they would have her executed for harboring traitorous thoughts. since the world is based on the shaper view point(ie. theyre called rebels not drakons/human/servile coalition)astoria can be considered a rebel.
  25. war is war, and what ever there faults the shapers are great at killing, and killing effectively.they need a big army and conscription is a great way to do it, they may not call it conscription and there are really no draft dodgers, however its still conscription. the people in charge(ie. generals) may not worship the shapers like there inferiors but they are undoubtedly loyal to a fault, and thats all the shapers really require.
