  1. The projection belt is also pretty good. Unfortunately, I am currently torn between it and the girdle of genius on my Shock Trooper run. I don't know which one I should choose.
  2. I believe it is called the Girdle of Insight.
  3. Yeah, you can put SDF's in there too, but remember that you have to restart the game for them to take effect.
  4. The folder's called "Geneforge 5 Files", and then you can find the scripts folder inside it. It should be in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spiderweb Software\Geneforge 5_2\Geneforge 5 Files Unless you've installed Geneforge in differently. If you have, go to "properties" on your G5 icon, copy and paste the target into the documents, my computer, you know one of those things (your internet browser works too), delete the quotation marks and the \Geneforge 5.exe
  5. I'm pretty sure about the worm. I think it is called the frostbitten worm, and is only in Lerman's pass.
  6. I think that you have some of the weakness/resistances wrong, but I am unsure on some of them. Or, it might be that I just read it wrong; your wording was kind of hard to follow. I'll list them: drayk - poison & ice should be moderate kyshakk - ice & fire should be weak, magic is probably resisted. drakon - ice is a weakness, fire is slightly resisted. thahd - poison, acid, and melee should be moderate clawbug - ice & fire should be slightly weak, poison is resisted, and I think that acid might be slightly weak too. battle alpha - cold & fire are slightly weak against. rotgroth - i would say that poison & melee are slightly resisted. golem - ice, fire, and poison are completely resisted. they do like 1 damage (ihatekrakoakel) worm - i think that there was one type of worm in lerman's pass you should make note of that resisted almost everything (i cannot remember) but physical damage vlish - ice & fire should be moderate (slightly weak?) podling - magic is moderate (slightly weak?), and poison/acid is moderate You should divide the resistances/weaknesses into five categories: Resists, Slightly Resists, Moderate, Slightly Weak To, and Weak To. This will clarify a lot of the strategical info, as your wording changes from creation to creation. For example, War Trall: Resists - None Slightly Resists - Ice, Fire, Acid, Poison Moderate - Physical Slightly Weak To - None Weak To - Magic I would also suggest to give the upgrade of creations their own section as some of them resist/are weak to different attacks then their base forms.
  7. I found the demo of G1 on RealArcade some years ago, and have been playing the games since.
  8. Great story. It makes me want to go write one; I had an idea about a Geneforge fanfic, but never got to it. I'd like to see maybe an encounter with a canister or maybe some rebellious/trakovite characters for Saraph to meet in the school.
  9. At least the cake one has a use. I used it for that one "Cake?" rebel quest in G4.
  10. Actually, you can sell it. I've done it before, thinking it was some useless item. Luckily, I was able to buy it back in time.
  11. Oh yeah, forgot about him. He can also set your Reputation to 90 (pro servile), but only once.
  12. This is a great guide to shock troopers. It makes me want to go play as one, as I've been meaning to try to replay G5 as a battle creation user, and the shaper has gotten boring to use, as I used him on my last playthrough. This is off-topic, but when are you (if you are) going to make a guide to magical creations? Your other two were really helpful.
  13. No you do not meed to be one of the awakened to trade there, you just nrrd a pro-servile reputation, and there is no way to find it out. If you can't get your reputation low enough, you could use the cheat "iloveserviles".
  14. No, in White Wastes if you fight for the rebels, the loyalist captain will drop the Claymore. I'm pretty sure of this.
  15. So does anybody know where the Drypeak Mountains are in that map? I'd think it's in those mountains between the Whitespires and the Nodye coast, as the bottom right of the Mountains (entry valley) was connected to the Shaper Citadel somehow.
  16. Pretty much the only change you get is that you get mad at these few guards on a bridge late into the game, but you can calm yourself with enough leadership.
  17. Is anybody else getting a internal 500 error when they click on the Lifecrafter discussions? Because the links seem to be messed up for me.

  19. Or ketchup. Lots and lots of ketchup. My favorite creation is also the Vlish. I loved back in G1 & 2 when you could run around, slowing and stunning things to a standstill and blast groups of enemies to bits. I don't know why I can't do this anymore in later games; is it just me, or did Vlishes get nerfed since G2? Or was it just that things got more magic resistance?
  20. Maybe you could add in more technical data. There's also something I can't find a word for about it... It just doesn't flow well when you read it. Maybe you could organize it better, adding sections for each creation, one dealing with weaknesses and resistances, physical appearance, and so on. Also, you have some grammatical errors that may be what I'm having a problem with; run-on sentences and such. Also, space after commas.
  21. You should be able to use that water-drayk thing as a pack animal. It can sail around with you carrying your stuff from island to island
  22. I always keep my cryoa until I get 4th tier creations, and sometimes I even keep him until the end of the game. On my first play-through of geneforge 2, I kept my cryoa and squad of three vlishes till the very end.
  23. I think that I find myself siding with the shapers (this is my viewpoint, not how I usually play in-game; I love going canister-mad, killing everything that insults me and being all-powerful). A great power like shaping should be restricted, as it is very destructive in the wrong hands, and it's not like they're hoarding it within their themselves. Regular people can study and go to school, and through hard work, learn things themselves. The rebels get pretty crazy towards the end too. Most of the humans are canister-mad, the Drakons are power-hungry and destructive, while the servile rights and ideals they once fought for in the beginning have pretty much disappeared. In G5, everything has basically degenerated into a massive power-grab for Terrestia. However, I do think that the intelligent serviles should be treated as equals and given every right we do as sentient beings. Also, you forgot about the Trakovites. There are some of them lurking around here too
  24. Serviles (the ones that can join you) might be slow like ornks, but I'm not sure about this.
