  1. Set 5 is the only way to go. The others will rot your brain... (Of course you must consider the source of this advice.)
  2. If you see that fellow with runes carved into his face, don't trust him!
  3. I think the Avernum 4-6 engine would be more to your liking than the 1-3 engine. For Avernum 1, wait for the rewrite if the demo puts you off a bit.
  4. 201 - Presuppositions coming out the reverse, you might say Sorry, but Tail and Out the reverse just go together, don't they?
  5. 161 - Needed for a 32x32 set of words Like the mask of black squares needed for the crossword puzzle?

  7. 194 The look Edina wants... I don't remeber all of the lyrics, but suddenly it clicks.
  8. I hate getting fatally stuck in a puzzle game. I never finished the Dark Crystal game (many years ago) because I could never figure out what the Sun brothers quarrelled about, and there appeared to be no other way around that puzzle.
  9. 168 Flimsy backformation of a reused document 195 If you wanna / I wanna (but this one seems to easy)

  11. Can you fill in half of a hole? If so, what do you have left?

  13. The pits are where they got the stone slabs.
  14. I think Jeff had so much volume at $10 for Avadon on the I-Pad that he can now justify lowering the cost of the other formats to increase sales. I would still pay $30 - $35 for Jeff's games on Windows, but apparently, some folks aren't as generous with their money as I am. The $20 price point may cause sales to double, which would mean more money than the existing customer base at $35 each. Especially since a bunch of people are whining about the I-Pad price being lower.
  15. I started playing with Avernum 4, and was never quite able to get into the graphics and interface of the first three after loving the newer games so much. This will be great as I can now go back in time to the beginning of the story.
  16. Pricks against the kicks is Saul's Doppelganger. Am I too late to the party?
  17. The shutter on an x-ray machine is held closed unless power is applied to it to keep it open.

  20. I used to collect the Star Trek books, but over the years with all of my moves, I have had to lighten the load. If I still had all of the ones that I have bought, I would have probably 150 to 200 of them. I'm not so impressed with the newer ones. The one I have read most recently is "Probe", which is a sort of sequel to Star Trek 4, the movie.
