Whenever I try to Play E3 on mine, I get an error saying: "C:\Rrogra~1\Symantec\S32EVNT2.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL initialization. Choose "Close" to terminate the application." Then I just hit ignore, and the game runs fine. But I'm running XP, so yeah.

Ormus's build is the most recent. http://info.wsisiz.edu.pl/~kowalsg0/ It gets rid of the annoying intro music and picture, and removed passwords entirely, along with some other stuff.

I do believe that they are compatible with old BoE. Passwords are now useless. It's been ported for win-32. Play CoSC at your own risk. There's a big list of bugs and feature suggestions, compiled by Celtic Minstrel. That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Seeing as this game was released in the late '90s (1997, right?), a lot of the documentation is out of date. Last fall (I think), it was open-sourced under the CPL, and later, the GPL. You probably downloaded the demo. If you are running a windows machine, may I suggest Ormus's build? Monster 255 is not available in the M5 Menu. There's a blank unselectable spot where it should be.

Well, I personally use a singleton with quite a few of the good traits, and no bad traits, this results in some tough times in scenarios, but this is what I have to say through multiton experience: Spellcaster STR: 4 is good. Increase if you want more cargo capacity. Dexterity: I always have my dexterity 2 higher than my strength for warriors, for spellcasters i don't remember. Experience: I have not found a noticeable difference in level gain whatsoever. I will post again later if I remember anything else.
