I think it's blurry to actually concur how much luck you need to actually have an item drop occasionally..if you can..you can edit the scripts to boost the item drop rate..

Crash Bandicoot games are role-playing..Super Mario games are role-playing..heck..even Katamari Damaci is role-playing..if that's what you meant by role-playing..
