  2. Nice questions. I hope that "robbery" will be still possible but more difficult, since it seems that the stealth is improved. About the EXP: I think the old system is good. If you are more strong, you take less EXP from weak moster. I just hope that it will not happen the things in GF1: "You are too strong to take EXP from this foe."; is not fair! Even one point is important. I gained a level this way in GF3. Pods, spores and crystals are now much more useful. However, the enemy much more frequently gets a shot at you. Finally the Guardian have the importanche he deserve! Anyway, I would like more hear a resulution about this: You are in front of the enemy, with 8 AP. You attack, and the turn is finished. But in my opinion, it should be: 8-5=3 AP left! Of course, this new system is better than the one before. No more running-triks. I think the last line put the Guardian and the Agent at the same level. There will be a stong meele character? -- Meele. The base of combat. This should explicate my extreme support to the Guardian. For a real warrior, magic is like cheating. Except healing.
  3. Ornk meat. Wait, this is already discovered. Quote: Originally written by Randomizer: Magma Dragoon - the guardian type character looks interesting although I haven't tried it. Melee should be easier than in earlier games. Thank you for the info.
  4. No tricks with Guardian! About that... I think that in the benginning there will be an advantage for who combat in meele. It just me, but I think magic will be in a more advanced place in the game. At least, advanced magery: Firebolt and Small Heal are essential. And some other questions about the Shaping Skills... Will they be more relevant on the creature? Or they still just need when you shape something? And the Shaping is still "Click-And-Shape" method?
  5. Flamewar Alert! Really, I'm a Mac fan too, but this don't mean that who use Windows is a sucker.
  6. Mine is a mix from the upcoming GF4 and Diki's script. I'm starting to belive that I'll be the only one who will finish GF4 with the Guardian!
  7. Yeah... It may be useful a grid button that allow you to see a grid and order to a character to move in the square in front at the enemy. This, though, would tell you how many AP you need to attack someone, since you'll have just to count squares. I hope I'm clear.
  8. Innovation about combat system? This sounds interesting. Not because I don't like APs, but they should be more... flexible.
  9. I hate cheat, but sometimes I found it necessary. v_v Expecially I use editors when I accidentally use a canister before teaching twice a spell. This because I played GF3 first than the other two.
  10. Thank you by me too. And welcome to the Boards. EDIT: See? GF4 is attracting new people...

Old school is always better, after all.

  13. We are all waiting! I hope it will be out soon...
  14. GF4 will improve scavenging, right? The encumberance will be only of what you wear. PS: Poor, poor English.
  15. Well, I suggest you to NOT kill the Rebels and don't give the canister at Lankan. Just kill all the rogues, and all problems will be solved. Oh, if you kill the Rebels, Greta will gone away when you'll leave the island. PS: Absolutely don't take the special canister before talking at Lankan!
  16. Want to play the game only one time. Very well, then try the middle path: treat serviles with humanity, support the freedom of intelligent creations, but not help the Rebels. You can be a "Nice Shaper", but remember: you will lose some privileges since you are not a fully Shaper/Rebel.
  17. Sorry, I don't recall this... Anyway, I think that spare Gregnier is the best idea. Don't worry, this is not considered a loyal action. You will can act as a Rebel soon.
  18. Ok, I'll explain: you must visit and clean for rougues some particular Areas, which have some soldiers at the entrance. Since you have killed them General, they may attack you. Anyway, if they don't attack, speak with their Leader, tell him to wait, then kill all the hostile rogues. Then speak with their Leader again and they will proceed. EDIT: Uhm... Maybe the Armies advance in the Areas only under a General order. Try to go back to Rahul... I dunno.
  19. Just kill every rogues in the Armies Areas, then speak with them.
