No one have registered yet? I have some questions: Are the vahnatai lands availible in this game? Tower of magi is ok now? Cotra has been rebuilt? Can you go to upper avernum or the surface? I really hope that in avernum 5 people may go to the Avernum area in Valorim. What happened to the crystal cave to the west of cotra? I liked that place...

So the conga dancers from previous avernum are now gone? And now there isn't outdoors right? But people can camp somewhere?

So in A4 there is secret passages but their are more like triggered hard to find doors. Creepy, avernum without secret passages is like a party without music!!

Welcome to this mad forums Tyranicus! I suspect that you now could have a lot of doubts about A3, like all people does when they register. It´s supossed that in that place a wizard give the anti-Erika amulet but i still don't know how it can be used...

Both engines has their advantages, Geneforge engine is prettier, but it have no outdoors and the world is completely flat. Avernum engine is more simple but i like it more, it has elevation, the screen view is larger, etc. I think that A4 should be a mix of both, well maybe it is already, but A4 have geneforge graphics...I like more the avernum graphics, and now the world is flat again...but the idea of a full world without zones is quite interesting, but still the game lose the touching outdoors feeling.

Exactly wath happens in Bashikava? I never played the A1 or BoA version... In the BoA the gates can be opened?

Damn, and i though I have bad grammar... When I played that part of the game, I stupidily killed all the shades, incredibly difficult because in avernum you can't target invisible units, not even the ground. And the area spells are gone, what makes it more difficult. Anyway I don't remember very well that part. ...I remember a throne... ...the empire seal... maybe im having a mix of dungeons here...

And why you cannot enter the tunnel? If you don't know waht to do then let that Super-editor make his job and add the special item with it...

You have to get a book in a slith temple, called Swamp City if I recall correctly, it's to the north of fort (?). The book is in the NE part of the map, in a secret passage so use far sight. After that give the book to (?) in the fort (?). I don't know anything abiut lv3 dispel barrier. Please some nice people fill the (?) spaces, im sure that someone knows what im talking about...

Now you ended the game? Or now you are in the Hawthorne quest? Maybe you would need help too, but maybe you should continue this topic...

ohh that place! i never knwe how to do it and the walkthrought didn't tell anything about it. so i just used the almighty editor and gave to my mage the unlock lv3. I unlocked the door keeping the bottle, after that i just set the lv2 unlock for my mage.

i never liked the capture sould very much, in avernum the creatures just last too litle, i prefer the arcane summon sometimes. with my luck the capture soul always fail to capture the souls...

i like the edged weapons just because they are more versatile, but the pole are stronger... i like arrows but like a support, but still they are great! i usually play with a flame or alien blade, for pole with a blessed halberd,i haven't found the bolack one... in arrows ovbiously the fury crossbow, with light(or life?) bolts(but they are so hard to get...). an incredibly stupid question: what is lol?

this topic is so common, even me made a topic like this a few weeks ago me at least, use a common party, a human soldier, a nephil rogue-archer, a human priest and mage, sometimes i replace the soldier with a slith berserker

its sad because i liked the magic tower even when it was just an isometric image in my computer when i was 10 and i didnt understand a word of english, anyway i though that the exile game was so charming... i hope that the tower will be rebuilt in a4. about that anyone knows how the movement system of A4 will be?avernum or geneforge way?

i remember a similar topic but its very funny anyway, consider the thing that if you dont sleep you dont EVER eat. if you are about to die you recover in 1 day! people have really serious privacity troubles with all the lockpics you can walk for years and never get tired oh,and the caves have a permanent light coming from god knows were. you can be burned,seared,chopped,butchered,cutted in pieces,frozen,intoxicated,bashed brutally,stabbed,pierced,but with a little luck you never die, other people die easily,why nobody think in the poor victim's families? the list have no end
