this make me think that maybe i dont want to be a beta tester. i prefer that the game go out for mac so the mac people can make fun of the windows people about all the great things of the game.anyway the windows version is just a few months after the mac, in march maybe?

i never saw that maps anyway,when i found the link in SW page "the page cannot be displayed" i hope that they would be good or anyway no one should be so worried about this...

you try to deveal every bit of black map?sometimes i do it too because there can be a treasure in everycorner but sometimes in big dungeons i just get bored and go straight to the quest

my opinion is:dont play solo well i would like to do it but is surely is so hard and im very impatient i think that tou should play with a slith berseker,divinely touched,spells is not the grat difficulty because there is a lot of potion,scrolls etc,and anyway buying magic substitutes is a must to do if you decided to solo play the game in first place

why people doesn't like archer?they are cool and in avernum thet hit a lot unlike exile.and they are a cheap ranged weapon so in dungeons they can be very useful if your mages are drained about the missiles i have nothing to say because i dont like very much because they run out so quickly not like arrows.

oh i remember a lot of similar posts... i only use the default names, aldous, ssss(whatever) cordelia and microft, but usually i play with a nephil that is called Frrrr, in honour of the nephil default name in exile

i dont like first aid, the first time i used it i didn'y knew that it could damage someone, well i used it to heal my warrior and...he died! i had to reload the game and then i had to pass the entire dungeon again!

well the healing potions were very more useful in a1, where yhe heal spell sucked, it only heal for 40 in 3 level!in A3 about 150! that is a lot of difference!

and you have windows or Mac?

well you should use the editor, anyway you aren´t cheating now Unlike others (like me sometimes )that use the editor for having all the spells or you could just start again XD

someone please tell me what does the luck because i never found a real use except the fact that sometimes when you die you "luck out" and got saved.

maybe this has been posted before, but what creations do you like? i personally like the drakons, and gazers,but i think that the searing artila are so lovely (i keep one with me almost all the game). i really hate the rotgroths and the rotzhidon, i never used them really but i had enough with killing them in the 4 and 5 island, and they are so expensive.

well, that is men, what do the ur-drakon, because i never got it, just the drakon at level 2. they atack more target at the same time?
