  1. I always cheat my stats and eat just about every enemy that i can find. I just breeze thru the story and pick up the coolest gear available.

I dont edit gear so i have something to look forward to. There is 1 time I edited gear in G3 to give my melee guardian 50 ap. Pretty much everything in a zone was down after my turn.

  2. There was some great stuff back in 2006, 2007. Emperor Tullegolar was particularly erudite.

Now i really regret having joined the forums just recently, despite having known and played spidweb games since the exile days :(

  3. The rules for this challenge will be simple. As stated in the title, you will only be allowed to use all your skill points in 1 stat of your choosing until you can no longer click the button to increase that stat. After you have maxed out 1 stat, you go to next stat you will max out, so on and so forth. Other means of increasing other stats will be allowed. All items that increase other stats will also be allowed.

Any suggestions on this challenge? Is this doable? If so, in which game (spidweb game only of course)? And any suggestions on which stat to pump first? I will be glad to hear suggestions first before I try this.

  4. After a lot of thinking, I realized that one of the most wonderful things that the Shapers in the Geneforge series made is the living tool. Come to think of it, other than picking someone else's locked doors and closets, and maybe scratching their smelly hunched backs, these tools may have an infinite number of uses! The shapers havent tapped the vast potential of the amazing living tool!

Suppose you have some living tools lying somewhere in your house, what would you use it for? Think of the cleverest, craziest, wackiest or whatever ways that you could use it. Come people! Lets give these things some justice!

  5. Well, I have an issue of superiority complex in video games esp. rpgs. What I do is always find a way to have an unfair advantage over the games thru cheats and whatever means possible bec. I always like to be a demigod in whatever world I am in.

You all know how easy it is to cheat in spidweb games. Just a little fiddle in the scripts, and voila! GODLIKE character.

Um, any advice as to how can I stop this madness? (And stop baby fyoras from getting eaten by my level 60 Ur-Drakon named Ryu.)

  6. G3 doesn't have "points" as a Rebel or Loyalist. There are simply certain decision points that set your course. If you clicked on the boat to go to Isle of Spears and hadn't killed Khyryk, then no matter what else you'd done in the game up to that point, in terms of rebellious acts, you were locked in as a Loyalist. (At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it is; it might be possible that some action on Dhonal's Isle could lock you as a Rebel (killing General Greiner, maybe?), I'm not 100% sure.) I do know that nothing you do on the first two islands really affects your affiliation (it can influence how certain people feel about you, but doesn't have any bearing on whether you are considered Rebel or Shaper for the endgame). You can play the entire game as a fanatically devoted Shaper Loyalist, but then kill Khyryk before you take the boat to Isle of Spears, and you'll be set as Rebel.

well thanks for the info. I'll just try to start again and see what happens.

  7. When I went to spear I was attacked by the Drakon. Makes sense because Im playing as loyalist. Maybe after I finish this game I will start a new one where I will try as much as possible to be unaligned. The only problem that I see here is how you will leave the first Island. Based on your dealings with the creator there will put some points into loyalist or rebel.

  8. Interesting. That makes sense. In a normal game, how you handle the Creator on Dhonal causes Greta or Alwan to leave, but you aren't actually locked in to Rebel or Loyalist until leave Gull, so it makes sense that you might chose one side on Dhonal but end up choosing the other side on Gull and alienating that side's companion. I'll be interested to know if you can work a way to get to Isle of Spears with both companions. I didn't realize freeing Agatha would have that effect on Greta - I was pretty sure the decisive choice on Gull Island was whether or not you kill Khyryk before you go to Isle of Spears (i.e., no matter what you did, if you left Khyryk alive when you clicked the boat to Spears, you were set as a Loyalist, and if you had killed Khyryk before you clicked the boat to Spears, you were set as a Rebel).

well, I've found a way to bypass quests again to open the docks. You just have to avoid freeing Agatha or killing Khyryk. I realized I can open the docks at Khor's Deep using my super uber Unlock spell ^^. Well, I'm taking both to spears now :)
