Yes, that's how it should it look if there were no modifications in it. Nextstate must be 5 in order to get the editing part. Nodes with state 5 are the questions that ask you if you want to edit your pc or not.

I just went back in my game and checked. It works just fine. I did remember wrong though. I figured it was an obelisk, but it was a sign. I don't know.. you guys just aren't doing something right, because over here, it's fine. I checked the nodes. I put down on paper all those that were being used and made sure the nodes (and states) were all different. It's possible I missed something, but seeing as I have had no trouble with it (yet, I may restart the game and see if the trouble is there), I likely won't go checking it again.

Actually.. the one I modified from GF2 editor (originally Croikle's for the first one) does so. Stats, spell levels, creature levels.. All of them in their own categories.

I've never experienced a glitch using them. And, yes, I have a PC.

You mean the places showing the way the GF map on my site shows what's where? I could put that up, I guess. Like.. just up. Somewhere on my space on the net.

Alex has , but as you can see, it's very empty in there. Moreso than in mine. As a matter of fact (by the way) A2, GF2 and 3 are all missing map sites. A2 has one, but only a partial one. Alex (was it Archmage Alex? I forget which one) should finish his, and someone should make a site for the missing ones.

If all else still fails, I offer mine. It's basically a copy of the GF2 GF1 editor script (Croikle's). Only adjustments I did was to remove the quests changing options and check that none of the nodes or nextstates clashed. I put it at Southend in the middle obelisk. The only problem I had with it is that the last option of doing nothing doesn't seem to work. I've no idea why. Everything else goes perfectly though. Anyway, if theirs don't work, here's this one .

No, really, why do you feel the need to repeat something that has already been done? There is a walkthrough, and there is a map of all the locations of the game. BY ME. It also has maps of the actual places and info on what items are where. No, it doesn't have them all currently because I haven't updated it in a long while, because no one fricking notices it. Take a look, it's the link that says Riibu's map. Knowlegde exists, all one has to do is look for it.

Don't worry, I'm sure it won't take long until 1 person multiplies to a dozen and more.

Well, Archmage Alex at least had a site about Geneforge 2, and it had all sorts of information in it. I can't remember if he was supposed to make maps as well, and it probably doesn't matter because the site doesn't seem to be working anymore. I'd make the maps meself, if I wasn't still trying to figure WTF is wrong with my lappy. = caught up with the maps from the first game. EDIT: And this is the link to his site .
