Curious Artila Unstable Platapi
Why the hell is the original Nethergate $30? The remake is only $25, and all the other older games are $15, so why the high price? I was considering buying Nethergate, but I'm not paying that much for it. What the heck, Jeff? Well-Actually War Trall Niemand
Is five dollars such an impossible amount? The pricing may be a little odd, but it hardly seems a matter worth getting upset over.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Many Spiderwebbers may not be rich, students are usually not millionaires. (What Jeff needs is something that will appeal to the upper end of the socio-economic scale, if he wants to make a profitable return.) Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Wait until October when Jeff has a sale. Also there is a discount for buying Nethergate with some other games. If it really bothers you that much than email Jeff. He might not have changed the price to keep it in line with the other games. If I remember the original game was only available on CD-ROM. Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
It still is only available on CD-ROM, hence the extra cost.
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
I'm sure if you emailed Jeff and said that you really couldn't afford the extra $5, but wanted Nethergate instead of N:R, he'd give you the discount and just send you a download link for the game instead of a CD. Just as an aside though, the $30 is actually in line with other SW games when you order on CD. The CD option costs $5 extra, so most games end up being $30, whilst the newer ones end up being $33. Curious Artila Unstable Platapi
Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was on CD only. My bad. I guess I'll just e-mail Jeff about it. Thanks for the help!
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
A demonstration version of the game can be downloaded from the old games page. Unlike all other Spiderweb games, the full version is only available on CD.

While this is certainly true, you don't exactly have to be a millionaire to buy a $30 game.
