Tenderfoot Thahd rmallen
What exactly affects the accuracy of battle spells (eg. firebolt, icespray)? I did a search but didn't find anything... sorry if it's been asked before.
Well-Actually War Trall Delicious Vlish
Raise spellcraft and battle magic.
Tenderfoot Thahd rmallen
hmm, I thought so. Still seem to be missing an awful lot. I must be a noob at casting spells Thanks for the quick reply
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Also each spell has a base chance of hitting. I think Slarty posted something on this for GF3.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Being blessed increases your accuracy by a flat 20%, so remember to bless yourself whenever you can.
Chittering Clawbug Hecate
So are you saying that raising dex and missile weapons doesn't help with the missile-like spells? *curses wasted points*
Hatchling Cockatrice Quiconque
Yup. The stat descriptions can be a tad misleading at times. Battle Magic, Spellcraft, and training in the spell itself help with missile-like spells. (Items that give a flat bonus to hit also help with spells, I believe.)
