Tenderfoot Thahd bonanza87
I need advice on how to get to the altar and the scrolls in the anama area. I was able to get the part where you can see the altar area I think that is across from the citrach nest area. I have no clue as to how to get to the altar and scrolls. Please advise. Second question, why does the new editor not allow editing of items and gold as the old one did. It is way more limited.
Curious Artila Mmcd
Tell the Anama you wish to join then, and answer all of Meena's questions with a pro-Anama spin. Go back to Alcander, tell him you're ready to join. He will take you upstairs, through the temple, to the altar. Once at the altar, tell him you've changed your mind about joining; he'll be disappointed, leave, and invite you to show yourself out. Then you can take the scrolls. This will make them unhappy with you. You will need to find another way down, or else fight your way back through the temple.

Chittering Clawbug Khyryk Eye
You can also sneak in, if you don't want the trouble talking to Anama people.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You can sneak past the guard by hasting and then going into fight mode to go past him to the area with the stairs on the upper level of the Anama Temple. You will still have to fight the guardian shades.
Kyshakk Koan Darkdread
or... you can go the "blade" way, like me, you just go upstairs, dispatch the guard, steal the scrolls and then kill everyone in town and loot all you want. No remorse, in the future you'll see they deserved it! hmf... They aren't much of a threat, it's a good fight.
Rotghroth Rhapsody The Lurker
I tend to do it that way too. My last playthrough was pretty hackfestish - I ended up killing Melanchion, Solberg, the Cheeseballs, the Anama, and possibly Mayor Kilgore as well. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I just prefer to get the Anama later when I'm at full strength. I just put them on a list after Harkin's Landing, the Fang Clan testing area, Giant's Spire, Vahnatai East Gate guards that won't talk to me, .... He (she?) and his (her?) guards are so resistant to damage that I was almost expecting to get a very powerful item after defeating them... But I guess a Knowledge Elixir isn't bad.
