Does anyone know where to find the lift part for the elevator to go see the giant queen?

If I have the GEAS, and alot of magic and they say that they will not let me join where do I find the altar? I was told that I can not join.

The items are listed as being a5, b2, etc. What do the letters refer to? I have not seen a map that has those letter designations. I am stuck trying to find the anama altar and scrolls and do not know where to find it. I downloaded the faq, looked at the map but am lost trying to locate it.

I need advice on how to get to the altar and the scrolls in the anama area. I was able to get the part where you can see the altar area I think that is across from the citrach nest area. I have no clue as to how to get to the altar and scrolls. Please advise. Second question, why does the new editor not allow editing of items and gold as the old one did. It is way more limited.
