  1. I remember this being Fort Saffron too. For Fort Remote, you have to get Gladwell's quest first, and he would tell you how to find a way to go upstairs.
  2. Wow, that was easy. I was all set to slip through the back door and forgot about the front entrance. Thanks!
  3. But how DO you do the quest without making Spire hostile? Every time I check the entrance to the mayor's chambers, there's always a guard there.
  4. I just joined the wiki, pending the organizer's approval.

  6. I believe I missed something somewhere in Gazaki-Uss that can allow me through to Galdring the second time. I am kept from seeing him after he sent a drakon to assassinate me. I got the hint from Mekhan about using tunnels to sneak in, and I have tried to do that by going around the drakons' lab. No matter how I go about it I get caught every time. Can someone drop me a hint? Is there a secret passage I missed?
  7. You have to say something pro-rebel (I forgot exactly what) for him to agree to teach you. I don't know how to fix it though, except for going back to an earlier save.

  9. You also need the focusing crystal to create the pacification pendant. Spellcraft +4 and Mental Magic +4 To good for words. That's too good to be true. A dream pendant.
  10. Too much work to shape and try to keep all your creations under control. I'd save all that essence and cast spells (like a good agent).
  11. Why not use both? I like having Kyshakks/drayks taking the damage and Wingbolts doing the damage with their kill spells. But then again, Wingbolts are 4th tier creations after all, despite their vulnerability against ice, so they can easily take up to 300 pts damage before you have to do some emergency healing.
  12. Has anyone tried getting through the whole game using and only using unstable creations? Or would that get you into trouble with the Shaper's Creation Rights Group?
  13. Anybody else considering buying a 24" imac just for the game?
  14. to 4: that sounds about right. G3 was by far the easiest Geneforge game to get through for me.
  15. Nah, I would save the game right BEFORE I climb up...
  16. You can also sneak in, if you don't want the trouble talking to Anama people.
  17. Agreeing with Vichelon about the use of money - more to put into buying unique equipment that we can only get at shops, and reduce the cost of training.
  18. Are we on the topic of funny characters? I personally like the talking spiders much better. They were ingenious creations.
  19. They are...I always find it safer to talk to the people in the towns and pick up all the quests then available before start killing off things in the nearby areas.
  20. When you keep encountering bands of hostile sliths on that route, you'll know you're on the right track.
  21. The eyebeast in the Lake of Trials dropped two eyestalks when I killed it. Maybe it varies by every game.
  22. Thanks, I found it. A trial of patience, to be sure.
  23. Khyryk, definitely, and I'd like to see him having a bigger role. Also several people in ghost form: Barzahl, Trajkov, and Salazzar. It would be cool to have a parade of drakon shades somewhere, as opposed to just human shades.
  24. Do you mean the place with a lot of tunnels that change shape every time you go back to them? I didn't see any entrances there. Or is it a completely different place?
