Kyshakk Koan Darkdread
I like playing in "easy" level, but I am curious about the other levels. What are the difference for example between "torment" and "easy"? Having to fight 6 goblins instead of 3? Having to hit a goblin 4 times instead of 1 to kill him? Taking 3 times more damage from that goblin? Having to pay higher prices when you buy? etc. I've been only playing the demo, that's why I ask. Thanks,
Understated Ur-Drakon Nioca
Each higher difficulty level: - Increases monster health (dramatically; I was stunned at how much of a health difference there is between normal and hard) - Increases monster hit chance - Increases your chances of being hit There may be other effects, but I too only have the demo. Kyshakk Koan Darkdread
Thank you, I knew it was a sort of elementary question, but it's clearer now. I'm still afraid to try Torment yet
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
I believe higher difficulty also increases the damage monsters inflict. Torment really is quite hard.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Torment has been toned down. At least from beta testing level. The main difference is after the demo, almost all monster hit on torment difficulty whereas in normal and easy you can still dodge them with high dexterity and defense. Torment requires damage reduction through parry to avoid hits, high armor and resistance to reduce damage. Also figure on endurance at 8 for the last third of the game.
