When my party attacks a traveler, or a guard, or anyone, everyone else in the area jumps in and helps me kill that person. I can also steal everything in the town without repercussion.Very strange. When I challenged Shafrir so I could kill him for the Anama, his bat familiar was somehow on my side and helped me slay him. That couldn't be how Jeff intended that fight to go, could it? Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 The game AI does funny things. Thefts are tied to a crime level for each area. Some places get mad after 2 or 3 thefts that are seen and others let you go and get away with more. Combat is just weird when you attack a friendly. Sometimes the other friendlies go hostile and sometimes they pile on the one you attack and sometimes they go after both sides. It's case by case so take advantage of them when you can. That couldn't be how Jeff intended that fight to go, could it? Jeff knows about it. I don't know why this happens unless it's a case of a familar getting revenge for it's treatment.
