Easygoing Eyebeast Morgan
If I ever have to create graphics, I use Photoshop. Not optimum for creation of graphics, but for editing existing ones, it has no parallel.
Well-Actually War Trall Archmagus Micael
Serif Photo-Plus 8. It's brilliant for editing pictures. You can add lighting, change the colours. Ever seen a PURPLE unicorn? Freaky? But nice!
Kyshakk Koan Tristrana
Most of the graphic-programs out there can do those things, Michael. Anyway, I use MS Paint to draw my works, and PhotoShop to make them look like actual graphics/artwork.
Curious Artila coreyh
http://www.cosmigo.com/promotion/index.php It rocks for sprite work.
Garrulous Glaahk Yellow Sub
Windows software? Maybe people should know I have a MAC. Nevermind, Ill try a 3D graphic editing program and render a snapshot the correct size for BoA and hope it works.
Curious Artila coreyh
sorry for that. Pro-Motion is just the best program I've used for sprites. I spent a long time looking for a program as good as it on linux. I've used Macs for the majority of my computing life but I haven't used them for any of my game programming. Chittering Clawbug HappyNephil_dup1
FuturePaint for the Mac is decent, and if you can afford Photoshop, it works pretty well too.
Garrulous Glaahk Yellow Sub
HELP! I tryed rendering a snapshot of a 3D image in 2D, shrunk the size to fit the Inventory icon height and width requirements, and it wont paste in! I copy the small, rendered image in Preview and it wont let me paste it in res edit! What AM I doing wrong?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Have you checked the clipboard before pasting to make sure it actually contains the graphic? Sometimes opening a program in Classic mode (like ResEdit) can erase the clipboard contents.
Ineffable Wingbolt Dahak
You need to copy from a Classic app to a ResEdit. I have had the same problem. If you have Graphic Converter, check the info to if it can be opened in Classic instead of X.
