Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 You need to kill Adze-Haakai before doing the Escape the Underworld quest in order to get an item needed for the quest path. Rotghroth Rhapsody The Reverend Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Adze Haakai can be done at lower level than the rest - but by level 30 you should be able to do all of them (unless you are playing torment difficulty, in which case I generally try to be around level 33 or 34 before attempting Hawthorne, which I agree is the hardest). This quest should actually be done already once you have the demon slayer. ;-) Don't have the demon slayer? You missed something! Next, I recommend going for Grah Hoth (wasn't that his name?). Then find an escape route, no hard boss, but the final map is fairly challenging. Understated Ur-Drakon Earth Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Adze is demon occupying tower of magi (stupid Linda). Grah isn't easy fight unless lures him/it to corridor where his/its minions can't get. Finding exit to surface is quite easy until gets to boss-fight (stupid deathcurse). I haven't done Hawthorne-fight yet (lost inspiration to finish game) in remake but in A1 it was tough and doubt it has gotten any easier. Rotghroth Rhapsody The Reverend Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 There is a lot of debate between whether Grah Hoth or the escape route is better to do first - I find the escape route slightly easier (and it was also the first final quest I did back in the Exile I days), so I vote for that, but I also understand why some find Grah Hoth easier.
