Tenderfoot Thahd Avadon_fan
I'm sure this is a simple question. How does one remove the magical barrier under the city to start killing the rats (one of the quests)?? I can't figure it out.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
by going to Ft Dranlon and buying 1st 2 levels of Dispel Barrier-spell from its mage (after fullfilling her quest) or by ising Piercing Crystal.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There is a way to the rats using a hidden switch so you don't need dispel barrier. Besides you can't get to them from that side. Explore the garden in the southeast for a trapdoor.
Tenderfoot Thahd Avadon_fan
The trapdoor leads to the crystal thingy, and a dead end w/water...i'll keep looking. Must me missing something.
Chittering Clawbug Catweasle
But there is a button on one of the rock pillars. Pressing it opens a path to the rats. If you are still having trouble look at my description of Formello
Curious Artila noname
Always keep an eye out for the secret door buttons. I just went back to the bat caves near formello which I had previously finished. I noticed a button on the wall I didn't remember, it opened up another pretty large cave which, unfortunately for me contained higher level monsters than just bats, whole team got killed. Love surprises like that.
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Reviving threads that have been inactive for many months is generally frowned upon, unless you have something substantive to add. Since your comment doesn't really even relate to the topic, I'd say it doesn't qualify. Feel free to start new threads to share your thoughts. Curious Artila noname
Sorry, didn't know that there were rules. Certainly don't want to be frowned upon. I didn't even notice the dates and just thought it would be better to use an existing thread than start a new one. I have seen times when people were criticized for starting a new thread without doing a search first. Thank you for your quick condemnation. I will be very careful in the future. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Condemnation is too strong a word, I think. It certainly wasn't intended that way. More like gentle guidance for the newcomer.
