Ineffable Wingbolt Superba
Please say they will. Please.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I'm pretty sure that they will since Jeff doesn't want a game that isn't compatible with the newest operating systems. The Avernum remake isn't playable on OS 10.3.9.

Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
Avadon works fine on OS Lion.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Besides Tyranicus has been making Lionized versions of some of the older games. Here's the link to the first trilogy.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
why wouldn't Avernum-remakes work on OSX Lion?
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Lion gave up Rosetta, so it lost compatibility with PowerPC-native applications. Jeff has been programming universal binaries (and updating) pretty much since the Intel switch, though, so don't worry. —Alorael, who advises against confusing retro games with retro requirements. Ineffable Wingbolt Superba
Glad to hear that news about Universal Binaries programming and yes, EE, what worried me is uncompatibility because Apple dismissed Rosetta; with Lion you need to install new versions of many applications, not a minor difficulty for me for I run a five years old OSX Tiger. Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
I know Rosetta got axed, I posted link about it when Lion was in testing/announced.
Ineffable Wingbolt Superba
Confirmed, it works with Lion 10.7.1 and the game seems faster to me.
