Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 If you already bought the App Store version, you might want to try contacting support@spiderwebsoftware.com explaining that you want to be able to edit the game and attaching your email receipt from Apple. Steam isn't as strict as Apple is with regards to editing the app. Just make sure you don't verify game files; it'll probably revert any changes you've done. Just have to remember that the Steam version is actually located in the Steam folder. I bought mine off of Steam and edited the script to allow secret doors to sparkle. Just takes a little digging in the Steam subfolders to find where the Avadon game folders are buried. Gotta remember that Steam's origins was as a mod site, so as a nod to that they try to make sure that players have all the files necessary to mod their games if such is possible.
