  2. @Alorael: I'm having trouble finding the scripts. @THe TUrtle Moves: When I used Show Contents on the Avadon app, abd went into resources, all I found was the icon file.

  4. Er... I don't mean using other people's editors, I mean tracking down the folder of game files and personally altering the item stats etc.
  5. Unless I happen to be a moron and am incapable of finding said things... I don't think the Mac Steam version of Avadon has the capacity to be modded any more than the App Store version. Someone, please tell me I didn't just waste another 9.99....
  6. I love you and your games Jeff, and I understand the reasoning, but I still wish you could put them on the mac for steam.... But nah, not like Mac users were your original fanbase or nothing.

  10. After I purchased Avadon from the App store, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I couldn't find the game files any more. Is there a fix for this, or am Is tuck having wasted $20 for a game I can't mod?
  11. I went with Sorceress on Casual. I was always a fan of magic intensive classes. Aso, I misunderstood what it meant when it said "Unlock". I thought they meant like a spell, a la genfeorge. No such luck.

  14. I know there has to be some way to reset how many canisters the game thinks you have used. Any help?

  17. Nah, just go with G5: its a better game.
  18. Microphage: nope. It just says "You got 2 coins!" and gives me two coins. I'm running MacOS 10.6.6and have tried it after a clean reinstall. 2 coins. Ah well. Another question, in case someone knows: I adjusted my stats to the maximums I could without the game freezing on my turn in combat, but when I leveled up, the freeziing returned. Anyone know if there are hidden bonuses to something that occur during a level up?

Also, another question: I'm running tests to see the maximum amount of stat points you can boost yourself with items (roughly 190 with STR INT DEX END and over 6000 with weapon and magic proficiencies) and ran into an odd one: when my luck goes above 9, the game freezes any time I enter combat. Anyone know why? Oh, and microphage?   21. Question: are the "Spore Batons" used at all in G5? They were used in G4 for those minefields I hated, but do they come into play in G5? BEcause if not,t there are roughly 22 lines of editing free.
  22. One can't help but agree that making creations that can shape is rightfully considered a horrible idea: the Drakons are proof of that. As an aside, I wonder if the Shaping Mind would have done the same thing? ReShape itself over and over until it attains a better shape a la the Drakons? It might be an interesting story...
