Play or not?

I just started play avadon, and i have some questions: do i have to take all these pepole (hands) to my party or can i delate them and play with olny one character? Is it anyhow enable to walkktrought game with olny one charater?

Some time ago I trayed to play avernum 4 with olny one character, and it's just not playable

You can't remove the other Hands from your roster, but you can mostly ignore them and play solo. It'll be more challenging, and you'll probably want to play as a shadowwalker or sorceress so you can easily pick locks, but it's possible, especially on easier difficulty settings.

Yes, just go on without selecting any characters and you can go solo or with only one character. Don't lose track of them though, you might want them later.

You are forced to take them if you want to do their quests, but you only need to take the one for that quest. All of their quests are optional and the only penalties are loot, experience that doesn't matter at the end, and they may not help you fight the last fight.

 

Even on the hardest difficulty you can do almost everything, but you have to be careful on how you build your character.
