Articulate Vlish posfan12
I am finding that there are some performance problems with regard to interface lag. The mouse often becomes very slow, where moving it across the screen takes longer, and I have to click several times before the command is registered. Here are my specs: single core 2.4GHz Celeron 3GB RAM Windows 7 64-bit GeForce 210 (not the greatest) Any tips on improving performance? I have had no crashes so far, so it at least seems stable. Articulate Vlish posfan12
I set the Avernum 5 process to a higher priority and that seemed to fix things.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
maybe some malware-scanner did background checking during you played.

Yeah, that can happen; most anti-malware programs tend to eat up a good chunk of your system's resources, especially during scans.
Ineffable Wingbolt Erebus the Black
I had the same problems with a PentiumII MMX, ~200Mb RAM and XP-32 OS My solution was to rely heavily on the keyboard in order to prevent bad commands (such as after first char kill bady the multiple intolerant clicking caused second char to move into where monster was). side note: one of the things it caused me to realize is that having the numpad enter disabled by the programmer is really annoying X| is this mac related? Articulate Vlish posfan12
10%-15% maybe, but that's all. [edit] I started a new thread in the other forum.
