Tenderfoot Thahd Lord Pip
So I've reached the point where Ghaldring has asked me to kill Astoria, Taygen, Alwan, and Rawal. I had no trouble killing Alwan, because he could be poisoned, but the secret power flow machine doesn't seem to have any effect on Astoria, and I still can't survive. Any tips on killing her for a more mechanics/ leadership heavy character?
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Alexwood
Umm I dont know, Did you get in that room in the back behind Quothe, I was able to do somthing with the power when I disables all the crystals
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
If you successfully sabotage the machinery, it will blow up in her face when she tries to use it on you. You really only have to survive one round of her normal attacks. Also, it helps to pick off everyone else in the area one or two at a time. Tenderfoot Thahd Lord Pip
Hmmm... thats what I've been doing. The crystals don't entirely kill her when they blow up, just do a lot of damage. Am I missing something, or should I just come back when I'm stronger?

If you can't survive a few rounds of combat, you should either rethink your strategy or come back after training. Have you cleared out some or most of the zones filled with random baddies?
Tenderfoot Thahd Lord Pip
whoo! I finally killed her. Now on to Rawal... is there anything special I should do for that fight? (I have the control tool out already, I think that's a given)

(I have the control tool out already, I think that's a given) Yeah, enter through the backside of the fortress (the Foundry entrance). That way you skip quite a lot of the fights, and can bypass the Shaper in his lab (he's a tough fight). You can also talk with Mehkan, who will tell you how you can get the Servant Mind to get the creations to attack Rawal I've never done this, so I'm not quite sure how it goes. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You need lots of leadership to get the Servant Mind to help you.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Hypnotic
You also need to do it before angering the Shapers.
Tenderfoot Thahd Lord Pip
Just did that. I already angered the shapers, the servant mind stays friendly unless you specifically attack it
Tenderfoot Thahd Lord Pip
I got Alwan, now its just Taygen left. I've gotten the the creations in the hall to become friendly to me, but is there any way to stop the reinforcements?
