My Mage has 15 Spellcraft and 7 ME and Mage lvl is 12 and still spell is too weak. Also some barrier at Chitrach cave requires stronger spell (not sure if that barrier can be brought down with current stats since FA is prior. 1). Synergy's Item List in Strategy Central lists known magical barriers that require higher levels of spellcraft and mage levels to remove them. Magical efficiency doesn't do anything. Garrulous Glaahk Californian Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 You can use either piercing crystals (orange) that you'll acquire all over the place, or the spell. Once you finish the retrieve-the-papers-from-the-portal quest, you'll be able to buy the dispel barrier spell at the Tower Colony. Trust me, you need that spell.
