Quantum Mechanics and Sequential Art

From a topic over in another gaming forum on a comic strip there was a great reply explaining how things come into being:

Quote:
KoDT storylines work on a principle similar to quantum mechanics. Until you open a comic and actually read a story, it is both planned and unplanned, written and unwritten, on its way and not on its way. This is because Jolly's creativity exists only in discrete packets we call "strips." At best, we can predict the likelihood that Jolly will write about any given subject. Just enjoy the ride.

This seems apt for most of what we are anticipating including Jeff's new game.

Eric 'Rick' Heller is a professor in chemistry and physics at Harvard (he gives half time to each), who calculates art. That is, he looks for direct graphical representations of quantum mechanical thingamies in his research, and prints them out as posters. The only actual artistic input is in selecting what to print, and in choosing color schemes — though this is significant input, actually. You can see some of his stuff here.
