A6 - Formello bug? (spoilers)

I'm playing version 1.0.1. I am in the Formello sewers, and just defeated Sneaky-Tortureguy-Whatshisname. I returned to the cell that has the terrified Nephil in it. We discussed the Fang Clan and so on, and I told him to come with me. He began leading me toward the exit, but then suddenly stopped and won't go any further. I tried talking to him, but he just says No time! Run! Mrrr! Isn't he supposed to go all the way to the stairs with me, or does he just stand there? I went back to a save and had the whole discussion again, and he stopped in the same place.

Same thing happened to me. Then I headed toward the exit and all of a sudden he started to catch up.

He's scripted so after the initial dialog you can't talk to him until you reach upper Formello. The AI does some funny things with NPCs moving when the party moves. Since you still can wander around the sewers looting the place it allows for that.

Thanks everybody. I went upstairs and he appeared after a few rounds. That cultist in the first room is tougher than she looks.

Poor kitty, she doesn't get teleported by the pylon when your group does. Jeff should have scripted the death of her or just not bothered. I spent the whole fight keeping her alive only to find out that my party members are dicks and wont bring her back to the portal keep.
