Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
So I've finally switched to torment difficulty about 1/3 through the game with a party of four. It really isn't all that bad. Fights take a bit longer but overall torment isn't all that tormented and is actually quite fun. My question is, does switching difficulty later in the game make torment easier, that is if I had started on torment, would things have been much more difficult. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Well, if you've been using consumable items like potions, presumably you'd have had to use more of those to survive on Torment. So in that sense, your resources might be a bit tighter at this point if you'd been playing on Torment the whole way through. Apart from that, the monsters you face now are the same as the monsters you'd face if you'd started out on Torment.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There are only a few early fights that might have caused you to burn resources. But these are the toughest fights in the early part of the game. The main difference will come starting in the Eastern Gallery when you face large groups of the better sliths. Some of those special like at the Horned Gate have over 1000 health on torment and by the time you hit Formello you will really notice the difference.
