Garrulous Glaahk Rionep Ecnirp Etlevs
Click to reveal.. Wasn't Grah Hoth (sic) executed with Demonslayer in the original Exile/Avernum? Why is he suddenly alive and threatening in Avernum 3? Has this been explained elsewhere?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Where do you think he went when he was killed? Now, where do you think Linda was opening a portal to?
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
It's apparently common in myths (possibly of the modern variety) for demons to be banished back to their homes when destroyed. —Alorael, who also supposes it could be a hereditary title for the biggest, baddest demon. Less satisfying that way, really, but conceivable. Just because the games give no evidence doesn't mean it's fall!
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Exile 3 has this: "Years ago, we finally banished the demon lord Grah-Hoth from our caves. Now, she has made it possible for him to return!" Although Exile 1 does say that you have actually destroyed Grah-Hoth, it not hard to believe that it just looked like you destroyed him, when really you banished him, and a group of outcast adventurers with no formal demonological training wouldn't know the difference. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Avernum 6 resolves the question once and for all. You just have to talk to the right demon.
