Tenderfoot Thahd Payne
Solberg just tells me that I am not hero enough for Dragonslayer. Did I do something wrong?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You have to do a quest for Solberg in order for him to tell you where Demonslayer is hidden. There is no Dragonslayer.
Tenderfoot Thahd Payne
I've done the quest to the best of my knowledge. I knew it was Demonslayer. Just testing. ; ) Too much game play!
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
killed that demon?
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Is the quest still in your quest log? There are a number of demons under the tower, and most of them aren't the one Solberg cares about. —Alorael, who in particular wishes there were a little more explanation for the rather complicated demon east of the tower's basement. Rotghroth Rhapsody madrigan
I usually get the wrong one first. The one you want is right under Solberg's office, I believe. Click to reveal.. There are three demons under the tower. The one Solberg wants is the one that summons the four hellhounds before fighting you directly. The other two -- one which changes forms and the blue one which has four pylons -- are just for fun, or something.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
You can tell which one is the right one because he talks to you first.

Ineffable Wingbolt Arch-Mage Solberg
Now if someone had paid attention to what I said there would be no problems. I said that Lord Bhoralon was underneath the tower, but the way down through the tower was blocked and to check the surrounding areas for access. Rotghroth Rhapsody madrigan
Solberg has to be the most insecure of all the heroes of Avernum.

Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Solberg is happily isolated in A1 and A2. By A3 he's in the ToM and in good company until it's invaded by demons. —Alorael, who would be bitter too if his place of residence and employment were demonified too. The poor mage has had a hard, tower-filled life.

Ineffable Wingbolt Arch-Mage Solberg
Madrigan- I happen to be the most secure of any Avernum hero. I defy you to find anyone more secure than I!
