  1. Hit them a lot, and try to do as much damage as possible with each hit. Ideally, give the Black Halberd to you best fighter, bless and haste him a lot, and then have everyone else stand back out of the way and heal him frantically. The only doomguard you need to kill is in the entrance to Blackcrag, and you just need to kill one copy. So just hit the same copy over and over again and it will die in about five or six hits.

The doomguard in the concealed tunnel you should just run away from, or enclose it in force barriers if you have that spell.

  2. I like the infiltrator and servile the best, basically because I like to play solo and think of myself as one man (or woman) against the world. Having to sneak around and pick off enemies one by one isn't tedious, it's fun. Sneaking and stealthing are by far the most fun components of Geneforge.

It's because Jeff is a more experienced Mac programmer.

I know that transfering files from a computer to another caused me problems .
This is completely untrue and nonsensical.
  5. I think that it's important to differentiate humans and creations under Shaper rule. Humans are self-governing, with an elite class of Shapers (who are human). There are human mayors in every town, they're the main merchants, etc.

Then there are the creations. Originally, only serviles were the sentient creations. Their situation was basically equivalent to slavery in the US. Somehow renegade Shapers began shaping Drayks, who began shaping Drakons, who began shaping Gazers and Eyebeasts. Really, they don't want to be a part of Shaper society. Most sane drayks just want to be able to live in peace apart from the Shapers.

So really, the only creations we're dealing with are serviles, who want to be accepted by Shapers and treated the same as humans.

  6. That will eventually reach a breaking point, though. There's a portion of the population that figures if they might die for nothing as part of a reprisal, they might as well die for something and form/join a resistance. There's actually a movie coming out in a while about this in apartheid South Africa.

    We're all slaves to something.
I can either disagree with this or point out that the things I'd consider myself a slave to, are all things that I would want anyway.
  8. Drayks were Barred for a reason - they were too smart and could reproduce. Also, look at all of the Drayks in GF 2-4 ... I don't think that all were Shaped.

Clawbugs probably can - look at the huge amounts of clawbugs and clawbug dens with clawbug queens.
