  1. Yes, the Infernal Shroud is great, but seriously, Jeff could have put it anywhere. Athron's lair was horribly weak in terms of what it used to be. It's just one big room with a demon. I was hoping for something a little more exciting than that. It's as if Jeff got tired of doing a real dungeon and just made a room with a bunch of treasure...
  2. She didn't have any trouble escaping the first time you fight her/it. Rentar is strong enough on her own to teleport away, she is after all, the most powerful Vahnatai wizard. The pylon is just there so Jeff can end the game...pity too, I would have preferred a more A1/A2 style of "ending".
  3. You need to kill the Metris Undead first that way he believes you to be worthy of the task. What's inside is pretty disappointing to say the least.
  4. Trust me, to those who have not been around long enough to be here, you do not want it. Shotts, you still are unwelcome here.
  5. Believe it or not, Jeff was actually going to make the demo shorter.
  6. Have patience...they have not told you because they do not want you to know. It is not quite ready yet.
  7. Quote: Originally written by Thralni, chicken god prophet: You used 1)? I didn't see it. I'll look better next time. And Thuryl, sometimes I have to say something. I often try not to say anything or just ignore it, but I couldn't let it go this time. maybe because I helpt Master xan with some graphics. I wonder if there is a connection between Thralni's graphics and scenarios not getting finished...looks like a 1 to 1 correlation thus far...
  8. Ssssh...nobody is supposed to know about the dark secrets of Spiderweb...if someone found out Alorael is really none other than...eeek!
  9. The only exception is that if you die, items may get destroyed...but then, who really cares at that point.

    Problem

More like six now I believe...but yeah, making poor people update, that would be like, too confusing.

Even if it's not right, we can still punish him anyway.
  12. I was going to write something more obscene on the Batman one, but I decided against it.
  13. Yeah, I'd imagine his suicide would be a horrible inconvenience for him, but, ho hum...

    New Forum

Yes, anyone of us (plus Schrodinger too) is capable of that...the appointment to moderator is not done for the faint of heart, however. It involves many great trials and tests of character, fortitude, and will. And even if you pass, it only takes the rejection of one of the current mods to disqualify you. Regards, Your Twisted Moderator Lord
  15. Quote: Hmmm... I don't really know what to say: Well here are a few less savory responses that I do not endorse: 1) Good. It probably wouldn't have had any merit as a scenario anyway. 2) This only further confirms my utter lack of faith in you to complete a project. I mock your attempt at making a book. 3) Excellent! Everything is going according to the prophecy... 4) Holy triange trout, Batman!!
  16. Try not to discuss too much...remember what Jeff said about keeping the testing pool separate. This forum is not for testers to share experiences.
  17. Of course it would be possible, there are few things that are impossible to code. Either way, it is not going to happen, too much cost versus demand. At any rate, this topic was dead a week ago...casts 'Dispel Spirit'.
  18. Horses/boats are not treated as creatures nor items, but as a special object in and of itself that is placed by scenario scripts. Also, we do not have the capability to edit spells, despite our desires to do so. Jeff doesn't "trust" our ability to do it, sadly.
  19. In E2 Rentar is pretty much a standard Vahnatai Lord.
  20. Can't say I'm entirely surprised. Good luck on your book. If, on the off chance, you get it published, be sure to let us know.
  21. That and no one has worked out the celestial orbits of Ermarian. One can assume an axial tilt roughly equal to our own because of the seasons. What puzzles me is Evermoon implying very long nights, but it lies at the end of winter. This Implies their winter solstice is near the end of the winter, which I am not sure is entirely possible. Empire and Rememberance could imply historical events. The Empire was probably founded in the month of Empire (Empire 1st in likelihood) and Rememberance was probably the end of some great war.
  22. One could infer seasons: Spring: Evermoon and Rememberance Summer: Suncome and Radiane Autumn: Empire and Leafloss Winter: Icefall and Frost
  23. Alorael does not moderate this forum, so the board treats him as a regular member here.
